This is the plain-English version of how Bumpd handles your information. We only collect what we need to help you discover nearby plans, verify your account, and show other attendees who they are meeting.

What data we collect

We collect your phone number so we can send an OTP and sign you in.

We use your live location or selected area to show plans near you.

We store your display name, chosen avatar, and the plans you create, join, or chat in.

We also keep the basic activity needed to run the app, like when a plan starts and how many people joined it.

How we use it

We use your location to show nearby plans and help other attendees see the area where a plan is happening.

We use your phone number only for OTP sign-in and account access.

We use your display name and avatar so plan attendees know who joined and who they may meet in person.

We use your plan activity to keep counts, chats, and attendance accurate inside the app.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data.

We do not share your data with advertisers.

We do not keep a long-term location history beyond what is needed for the current session and active app experience.

We do not ask for extra personal details just to inflate a profile.

How to delete your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and associated profile data at any time.

Send a request from the phone number linked to your account so we can verify ownership before deleting anything.

Once confirmed, we will remove your account details and stop showing your profile in plans.
